The left menu has a new look that follows the Dazos design system: rounded rows, one clear icon per module, and a filled highlight on the page you are on. Everything you could do in the old menu still works the same way, including collapsing it to an icon rail and using it on a phone.

1. Before You Start
You will need: nothing new. The menu changes for everyone at deployment.
Access requirements: none. The entries you see are still governed by your role and profile, exactly as before.

3. Opening Groups and Finding the Current Page
1. Click a group name, for example Admissions. The group opens and its arrow turns down. Click again to close it.
2. The entry of the page you are on is filled with your company colour, also inside an open group. 3. Sub-entries are marked with a dot; click one to go to that module.
Tip: Only one group opens at a time. Opening a second group closes the first, so the menu stays short.
4. Collapsing the Menu
Click the menu button (three lines) at the top left of the page. The menu shrinks to an icon rail; hover an icon to see the module name. Click the button again to expand it. Your choice is remembered while you work.
5. Using the Menu on a Phone
On a narrow screen the menu is hidden until you tap the menu button. It slides in as a drawer over the page; tap outside it or tap the button again to close it.
6. Frequently Asked Questions
Q: A module I used is not in the menu anymore. The menu content did not change; only its look did. Check your role and profile with an administrator, or use the search at the top of the page.
Q: Can I change the highlight colour? The highlight uses your instance's primary colour from Settings → Theme Options. Changing that colour changes the highlight.
Q: The menu button does nothing right after the page loads. The page finishes loading its scripts a moment after it appears. Wait a second and click again.
Q: Does keyboard navigation work? Yes. Tab moves through the entries, Enter opens a group or a page, and screen readers announce whether a group is open.
