iCampaign now tells you how many are waiting, and admins can open that queue to see every copy the CRM sent, understand why a copy failed, and remove entries before the CRM sends a corrected batch.

1. Before You Start
You will need:
An iCampaign account. Every user sees the notice; only admins of the instance can open the queue and remove entries.
A CRM connected to iCampaign that pushes subscribers.
A plan that has reached its subscriber limit. If there is room in the plan, the CRM's subscribers are created right away and nothing appears in the queue.
Access requirements: the notice is visible to everyone who is logged in. The View pending link, the queue page and every removal action require an admin account of the instance.
If you are an admin and the link or the page is not available to you, contact Dazos support so they can check your account's role.
2. Read the Notice on the Dashboard and the Subscribers Page
Open the Dashboard or Email & SMS → Subscribers. When anything is waiting, a notice appears at the top of the page.
What you see | What it means |
N subscribers from your CRM are waiting to be processed. (amber) | The plan is full. iCampaign retries these subscribers every minute and will create them as soon as there is room. |
Processing N subscribers from your CRM... (blue) | There is room again and iCampaign is creating them right now. |
No notice | The queue is empty. |
The notice refreshes itself every 20 seconds, so you never need to reload the page. Admins also see a View pending link that opens the queue.
Tip: the fastest way to make room is to raise the plan limit or to delete subscribers you no longer need. The queue empties on its own afterwards.
3. Open the Hold Queue
Click View pending on the notice, or go to Email & SMS → Subscribers and open CRM Hold Queue from the menu. The page shows one line per contact.
The header tells you how many contacts are listed and how many entries are Pending, Failed and Processed, plus how many identical pending copies exist.
Column | Meaning |
Email / Phone / First name / Last name | The contact as the CRM sent it in its most recent copy. Long values are shortened; hover to read them in full. |
Copies | How many times the CRM sent this contact, with one badge per state ( 2 pending , 1 failed ) and, when applicable, how many copies are identical to a newer one. |
Latest received | When the most recent copy arrived. |
Control | Purpose |
Delete selected (N) | Removes the entries you ticked. Disabled until you tick something. |
Remove identical copies | Removes every pending copy that is identical to a newer pending copy of the same contact. |
Clear queue | Removes every pending and failed entry that matches the current filters. |
Back to subscribers | Returns to the Subscribers page. |
4. See Every Copy the CRM Sent
Click the N copies badge of a contact. A detail opens under the line with one row per copy.
Column | Meaning |
Received | When that copy arrived. |
State | Pending (waiting for room), Failed (iCampaign tried and could not create the subscriber) or Processed (the subscriber exists). |
Reason | For a pending copy, why it is waiting. For a failed copy, the error iCampaign hit, for example a value too long for its field or an email that already exists. |
Data | The record exactly as the CRM sent it. Scroll inside the box to read it all. |
Relation | Most recent for the newest copy, Identical to a newer copy when a later copy carries the same data, Differs from newer copies when it does not. |
Trash icon | Removes that single copy (see section 7). |
Click the badge again to collapse the detail.
5. Filter the List and Choose Your Columns
The filter bar sits above the table.
Filter | How it works |
Email or phone | Type at least three characters; the list refreshes on its own. |
Received from / Received to | Pick a date; the list refreshes when you leave the field. |
State | Open the selector and tick Pending, Failed or Processed. By default the queue shows pending and failed entries. Tick Identical copies only to keep only contacts that have an identical pending copy. The list refreshes when you close the selector. |
Filter | Applies everything at once. |
Clear filters | Appears when a filter is active and resets the list. |
Columns opens a small window where you can hide a column or pin it to the left edge so it stays visible while you scroll sideways. Email cannot be hidden.
Tip: the summary line always reads "N contacts match the filter" while a filter is active, so you know the counters describe a subset.
6. Look at One Contact at a Glance
Click the magnifier icon next to an email, or open the three-dot menu and choose
Quick view. A side panel lists the contact's details: email, phone, names, how many copies are in the queue and in which states, when the latest arrived, how many are identical, the latest reason and the data the CRM sent.
Use the up and down arrows to move to the previous or next contact of the list without closing the panel.
7. Remove Entries From the Queue
Removing is meant for one situation: the CRM sent wrong data and it has to go before the corrected batch arrives. There are four ways.
I want to remove... | Do this |
One copy | Open the contact's copies and click the trash icon of that copy. |
Everything of one contact | Open the three-dot menu next to its email and choose Remove all copies. |
Several contacts or copies | Tick their checkboxes, then click Delete selected (N). Ticking a contact ticks all its copies; you can untick single copies. |
The identical copies | Click Remove identical copies. The newest copy of each contact stays. |
Everything shown | Set the filters, then click Clear queue. |
Every action opens a confirmation that names what will go.
1. Read the summary line: the contact and copy, the number of entries, or the count a Clear queue would remove.
2. Click the red button to confirm, or Cancel to leave everything as it is.
3. A green message confirms how many entries were removed and the list reloads.
Important: only pending and failed entries can be removed. Subscribers that were already created in iCampaign are never affected, whatever you select. If nothing could be removed (for example because iCampaign processed the entry meanwhile) the message says so and nothing is recorded.
8. Check What Was Removed
Below the queue, Recent removals lists every removal made on this instance: when, who, from where (This instance for your admins, Dazos support for the Dazos team), what was covered and how many entries went.
9. Frequently Asked Questions
Q: The notice says subscribers are waiting. Do I have to do anything? Not necessarily. iCampaign retries them every minute and creates them as soon as your plan has room. Remove entries only when the data the CRM sent is wrong.
Q: Why does a contact show several copies? Each time the CRM sends the same contact while the plan is full, a new copy is queued. Copies with exactly the same data are marked identical; Remove identical copies keeps the newest one.
Q: What does "Failed" mean and what should I do? iCampaign tried to create the subscriber and could not. The Reason column tells you why, for example a value too long for its field or a duplicate email. Fix the record in the CRM, remove the failed copy here, and let the CRM send it again.
Q: Can removing an entry delete one of my subscribers? No. Removals only touch the queue. Subscribers already in iCampaign stay exactly as they are.
Q: I removed something by mistake. Can I undo it? No. Ask the CRM to send the contact again; it will be queued or created like any other.
Q: Why can't I see the View pending link or the queue page? They are only available to admins of the instance. Ask an admin or contact Dazos support.
Q: Who else can remove entries from my queue? The Dazos support team, from their panel. Their removals appear in Recent removals as Dazos support.
Need Help?
If you run into issues:
1. Check Recent removals to confirm whether an entry was removed, by whom and when. 2. Reload the queue page and check the counters and the Reason column of the copy.
3. Contact Dazos support with the contact's email or phone, the time it was sent, and reference ICD 1558.
