Record Actions on the New Record Page (CRM)

The record actions moved from the right column into the record header.

The record actions moved from the right column into the record header. The everyday actions are one group of buttons; every other action is in one menu; and all signature forms are in one dropdown instead of a button each.

1. Before You Start

You will need: a CRM user on the new record page (the default). Which actions you see depends on your permissions and on the integrations your organisation uses, as before.

2. The Action Group

Call / Email / SMS

Call, email or text the record, as before.

⋯

Balance boxes (patient balance, donor balance, campaign spend) and Convert Lead (on leads) appear at the left of the header where they apply.

3. Signatures

The Signatures dropdown

Click Signatures and choose a form under To sign. Forms already signed are listed

4. The ⋯ Menu

The ⋯ menu

The menu holds the remaining actions: Duplicate, Transfer ownership, Export to PDF, integration actions (for example creating the patient in your EMR), DocuSign or PandaDoc, and module extras. Delete is always the last row, in red.

5. On a Phone

Edit, Call, Email, SMS and Actions are large tiles that always fill one row, whichever of them the record type has; Signatures and Follow sit side by side on the row below. Actions and Signatures open as sheets from the bottom of the screen, and the page behind them is dimmed.

6. Frequently Asked Questions

Q: An action I used before is missing. Open the ⋯ menu; every action that was in the old actions card is there. If it is not, the action may depend on a permission or an integration that is not active for you.

Q: On a consent form or a treatment episode, where are the actions? In the header too, like every other record. The old actions card in the right column is only on the classic page.

Q: Did anything an action does change? No. Only where the buttons are shown changed.
