How to Upgrade User Licenses (CRM)

Increasing your license count allows you to add more active users to your Dazos CRM instance. This process is seamless and ensures that as your organization grows, your team’s capacity to manage data and clients scales accordingly.

Before You Begin

  • Administrator Access: You must have administrative privileges to access the "Manage Users" and billing sections.

  • Billing Information: Ensure your payment method on file is current, as increasing your license count will adjust your subscription total.

  • Decision on Seat Count: Know exactly how many new seats you need before beginning the upgrade process.


Steps

1. Access Your CRM Instance: Begin by navigating to your specific CRM instance login page and entering your administrative credentials.

2. Navigate to Settings: Once logged in, locate and click on the Settings (gear icon), which is typically found in the main navigation or module panel on the left side of your CRM.

3. Access User Management: Within the Settings menu, locate and click on Manage Users. This section provides comprehensive control over your CRM's user accounts and seat capacity.

4. Initiate User Addition/Upgrade Process: In the "Manage Users" dashboard, look for the + Add User button. Click this to open the user creation and licensing window.

5. Proceed to License Upgrade: If you have reached your current seat limit, a notification or Upgrade button will appear within the interface. Click the Upgrade button to initiate the process of increasing your total number of available licenses.

6. Specify Additional User Count: A field will appear prompting you to input a numerical value. Type the exact number of additional users you wish to add to your current license count (e.g., if you have 10 and need 12, type "2").

7. Confirm License Upgrade: After carefully entering the desired number of additional seats, click the final Upgrade button to confirm your request and apply the changes to your CRM subscription.

Verification / Expected Result

Once the upgrade is processed, the Manage Users screen will reflect the new total number of available licenses. You will now be able to click Add User and successfully create new profiles for your team members up to the updated limit.


Troubleshooting / Common Errors

  • Upgrade Button Not Visible: If you cannot find the upgrade option, your user role may lack billing permissions. Contact your primary account owner to verify your access level.

  • Incorrect Count: If you accidentally added too many seats, please contact Dazos Support immediately to adjust your subscription before the next billing cycle.
