How PAA Forms Are Sent to KIPU as Evaluation Forms and PDF Documents
Overview
When PAA forms are configured as evaluation forms in your KIPU integration, they automatically send to KIPU in two formats: as structured evaluation data and as a PDF document.
How It Works
PAA forms configured as evaluation forms send to KIPU in two ways simultaneously:
Evaluation Form Data: Structured form data is sent to KIPU as an evaluation form for clinical use
PDF Document: A PDF copy is automatically pushed to the Pre-Admission tab in KIPU
Automatic PDF Transfer
The PDF transfer happens automatically when patients are pushed to KIPU. No additional folder mapping configuration is required.
✅ Best Practice: Verify that PDF copies are appearing in the Pre-Admission tab after your first patient push to confirm the integration is working correctly.
Managing PDF Transfer
If you need to stop receiving PDF copies while keeping the evaluation form functionality, remove the PAA from the document upload mapping configuration.
⚠️ Note: Removing the PAA from document upload mapping will stop PDF transfers only — evaluation form data will continue to sync normally.
