How to Disable PDF Password Protection in (CRM)

This guide shows you how to disable PDF password protection in your CRM so that shared documents (like PAAs) no longer require a Dazos password when viewed by external systems or recipients.

Before You Begin

You must have admin access to make changes to CRM settings. This setting applies to all PDFs generated by the CRM, including VOBs, Pre Assessments, and reports.

Steps

  1. Navigate to Settings → CRM Settings → Configuration → Notification Settings

  2. Click Edit (located in the top right corner)

  3. Scroll down to find the Edit PDF Password section

  4. Delete the existing password (leave the field completely blank)

  5. Click Save to apply the changes

Verification / Expected Result

After saving, newly generated PDFs from your CRM should no longer require a password when shared with external systems like KIPU or other recipients.

Troubleshooting / Common Issues

Password Regenerates After Deletion

If you find that a new password generates automatically after you delete it and save:

  • Ensure you are making changes in the CRM web interface (not iCampaign)

  • Verify you have admin privileges to modify these settings

  • Try clearing your browser cache and attempting the process again

  • Contact support if the issue persists, as this may indicate a system configuration problem
