KIPU API Limitations for Allergy Field Mapping (CRM)

Overview The KIPU EMR integration does not support direct mapping of allergy data from Dazos Pre-Assessment forms to the KIPU facesheet due to API limitations. This article explains the technical constraint and provides a workaround solution.

Technical Limitation

The allergy field in Dazos is configured as a special dropdown list. No compatible method exists through the KIPU API to retrieve or map this endpoint for automatic data transfer to the KIPU facesheet.


Workaround Solution

  1. Configure the allergies table to be included in the PDF version of the Pre-Assessment form.

  2. Push the patient from Dazos to KIPU β€” the Pre-Assessment PDF containing the allergies table will be sent automatically.

  3. Staff must review the allergies information in the PDF and manually enter it into the allergy field on the KIPU facesheet.
