Troubleshooting False Error Messages When Pushing Patients to KIPU EMR (CRM)

This guide helps resolve confusion when Dazos displays error messages during patient pushes to KIPU EMR, even though the data transfer is working correctly in the background.

Symptom/Error

When pushing clients to KIPU EMR, you receive error messages in Dazos indicating the push failed. This can be alarming, especially when you need to transfer patients urgently.

Cause

This is a known display issue where Dazos shows false error messages even though the data push is actually working perfectly in the background. The error message is misleading - it does not indicate an actual failure of the data transfer functionality.

Solution

When you see error messages during patient pushes to KIPU, follow these steps to verify the data transferred successfully:

  1. Log in to your KIPU EMR instance
Access your KIPU system using your normal credentials.

  2. Navigate to the "Incoming" queue tab
Look for the "Incoming" queue section in your KIPU interface.

  3. Check for your patient records
You should find that your clients have safely landed in the Incoming queue, despite the error message displayed in Dazos.

  4. Continue your normal workflow
Once you've confirmed the patients are in KIPU's Incoming queue, you can proceed with your standard admission process.

Expected Result

The patient data will be present in your KIPU Incoming queue even though Dazos displayed an error message. This confirms that the integration is working correctly and only the error display needs to be fixed.

⚠️ Note: This is a display-only issue that does not affect the actual data transfer functionality. Your patient information is being pushed successfully to KIPU.

Escalation

Contact Dazos Support if:

  • You cannot locate the "Incoming" queue in your KIPU EMR

  • Patient records are genuinely missing from KIPU after following these verification steps

  • You continue to experience actual data transfer failures (not just display errors)

💡 Development Note: The specialized development team has implemented a permanent solution to prevent the false error message from appearing.
