How to Use Calendar User Filter to Show Only Your Own Activities (CRM)

In the Calendar module's Shared Calendar view, you can control what activities are displayed by using the User Filter to show only your own calendar entries. This helps reduce visual clutter and focus on your personal schedule.

Before You Begin

  • Ensure you have access to the Calendar module in Dazos CRM

  • Understand that this is a view filter, not a permission setting - each user must configure their own filter

  • Note that this setting affects only your personal view and doesn't restrict what other users can see

Steps

  1. Navigate to the Calendar Module: Click on "Calendar" in your left navigation menu.

  2. Switch to Shared Calendar View: Select the "Assigned to" tab or view option.

  3. Open the User Filter: Click on the "User Filter" option in the calendar interface.

  4. Uncheck Other Users: In the User Filter dialog, uncheck all other users' names, leaving only your own name checked.

  5. Apply the Filter: Save or apply the filter changes to update your calendar view.

Verification / Expected Result

After completing these steps:

  • Your Shared Calendar will display only activities assigned to you

  • Other users' activities will be hidden from your view

  • The filter setting is personal to your account and doesn't affect other users

  • You can modify the filter anytime to include or exclude other users as needed

Important Notes

⚠️ Key Limitation: This User Filter is a personal view setting that each user must configure individually. There isn't a way to automatically make reps see only their own activities while leadership sees everyone's through system permissions.

💡 Tip: If you need to temporarily see other users' activities, you can easily modify the User Filter to include them again.

Best Practice: Leadership users can keep all users checked in their filter to maintain oversight of team activities.
