Before You Begin
⚠️ Important: This specific configuration change requires Dazos Support assistance. You cannot enable Lead Status inline editing through your standard CRM administrator settings interface.
Steps to Resolve
Step 1:
Contact Dazos Support Submit a support request to [email protected] explaining that the Lead Status field is not showing a dropdown for inline editing in your list views.
Step 2:
Provide Context To speed up the resolution, explicitly mention in your ticket that other fields are currently editable inline, but specifically, the Lead Status field is missing the dropdown functionality.
Step 3:
Wait for Backend Configuration Dazos Support will access the backend of your system and make the necessary configuration adjustments to expose the Lead Status field for inline editing.
Step 4:
Test the Update Once Support confirms the change is complete, navigate to a Lead list view and test the fix by double-clicking on any Lead Status cell.
Verification / Expected Result
After the backend configuration is successfully applied:
Double-clicking on the Lead Status cell in any list view will immediately display a dropdown menu.
You can select different status values directly from the list view grid.
Changes will save automatically upon selection without needing to open the individual Lead records.
Troubleshooting & Common Errors
Issue: The dropdown is still not appearing after Support confirmed the fix.
Solution: Refresh your browser and clear your cache. The old list view settings may still be temporarily cached in your browser.
Issue: Other fields have suddenly stopped working.
Solution: If other inline editing functionality was accidentally affected by the backend update, reply to your Support ticket immediately so they can review the configuration.
💡 Pro-Tip: This same backend configuration approach applies to other system fields that may randomly not show inline editing dropdowns in your list views. If a field should be editable but isn't, Support can unlock it.
