Reference Field Display Options in Intake Opportunity Headers (CRM)

Account information like phone numbers can be configured to display as reference fields in the Intake Opportunity header section. This allows you to place contact details directly beside the patient name for immediate visibility.

Ribbon Section Display Limitation

Current Limitation: Displaying reference fields in the ribbon section (next to Intake/VOB/Bedboard tabs) is not currently available in the standard configuration options.

Adding account phone numbers or other reference fields to the ribbon area requires submitting a feature request to the development team for consideration.

Quick Access Alternatives

For immediate access to account phone numbers while working in Intake Opportunities:

  • Header Placement: Configure the Account phone number as a reference field in the header section beside the patient name

  • Account Profile Access: Click directly on the Account Name in the header to jump immediately to the full Account profile, where all contact details are available

  • Reference Field Configuration: Set up additional Account reference fields in the header for other contact information as needed

Feature Request Process

If ribbon placement is important for your workflow efficiency:

  1. Submit a feature request through your support channel

  2. Include specific details about the desired placement and functionality

  3. Explain the business value and impact on your team's workflow

  4. Note that feature requests are prioritized based on multiple customer requests and development roadmap planning

Tips & Notes

💡 Tip: Header reference field placement often provides the same quick access functionality as ribbon placement while being immediately available through standard configuration.

Best Practice: Consider your team's primary workflow needs when deciding between requesting new features versus using available alternatives like header placement or direct Account profile access.
