Search Reports Across Every Page (CRM)

Learn how to use the new global search box inside your CRM reports. This guide covers how to search across all report pages at once, locate highlighted text, and easily clear your search to return to the full data table.

Overview

Reports now include a search box that looks through every row in the report — not just the page you're currently viewing. Type a name, date, or any value and the report instantly shows all matching rows from across every page, with your search term highlighted.

1. Before You Start

You will need:

  • Access to the Reports area of the CRM.

  • Any report that displays a data table.

Access requirements: No special setup is needed. The search box appears automatically on any report that shows a table of records.

2. Finding the Search Box

Open a report from Reports. Above the report table, on the right, you'll see a search box labeled Search register…. It stays in place ("sticks" to the top) as you scroll, so it's always within reach.

3. Searching Your Report

Click the Search register… box and type what you're looking for — a name, a stage, a date, or any value. The report searches all pages and shows only the matching rows, with your term highlighted.

Type any keyword, name, date, or value to search.

Highlighted text

Your search term is highlighted in each matching row.

× button

Clears the search and restores the full report.

Notes on how the search behaves:

  • It searches every row across all pages, not just the rows currently visible.

  • Page navigation (pagination) is hidden while a search is active, because all matches are already shown together.

  • Press Enter to search immediately, or just pause after typing and the search runs on its own.

💡 Tip: Because the search covers the whole report, you don't need to page through results to find a record — one search surfaces every match at once.

4. When Nothing Matches

If no rows match what you typed, the report shows "No matching records found." with a Clear search link.

Click Clear search to return to the full report and try a different term.

5. Clearing a Search

To leave search mode and see the full report again, either:

  • Click the × button inside the search box, or

  • Click the Clear search link (shown when there are no matches).

Clearing the search restores all rows and brings back page navigation.

6. Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Does the search only look at the page I'm on?

No. It searches every row in the entire report, across all pages.

Q: Why did the page navigation disappear when I searched?

While a search is active, all matching rows are shown together, so page navigation isn't needed. It reappears as soon as you clear the search.

Q: Do I have to press a button to search?

No. Results update shortly after you stop typing. Pressing Enter runs the search right away.

Q: Is the search case-sensitive?

No. Searching daniel and Daniel return the same results.

Q: How do I get back to the full report?

Click the × in the search box, or the Clear search link if it's showing.
