How to Enable the VOB Agent Integration (CRM)

Overview The VOB Agent integration lets your CRM connect to the VOB Agent service using a dedicated, secure set of credentials.

With a single toggle on the VOB Agent settings tab, the CRM turns the integration on, automatically creates a dedicated integration account behind the scenes, and displays the two values — an Instance Identifier and an Access Token — that you paste into your VOB Agent setup. No manual account creation is required.

Before You Begin

You'll need:

  • An administrator (or customer-admin) account in the CRM. Non-admin users cannot enable this integration.

  • The VOB Agent feature turned on for your instance. If the VOB Agent tab does not appear, it has not been enabled for you yet.

  • Access to your VOB Agent integration setup screen, where you'll paste the credentials.

Access requirements: The VOB Agent tab is only visible when the feature is enabled for your instance. If you don't see it, contact Dazos support to have it switched on.

💡 Tip: You do not need to create any user account yourself. When you enable the integration, the CRM prepares a dedicated integration account for you automatically.

Steps

1. Open the VOB Agent Tab

  1. From the CRM, go to CRM Settings → AI Setup (Agent Setting).

  2. In the agent strip, click the VOB Agent tab.

The tab content loads, and at the top you'll see a card titled VOB Agent Settings with an Enable VOB Agent toggle in the top-right corner. Your existing outbound credentials and Field Mapping settings remain below, unchanged.

2. Enable the Integration

  1. Switch the Enable VOB Agent toggle to ON.

  2. A brief loading overlay appears while the CRM saves the change and prepares your credentials.

  3. A confirmation message appears: "VOB Agent enabled — credentials ready".

Once enabled, two credential cards appear inside the VOB Agent Settings card.

⚠️ Warning: The first time you enable the integration, the CRM creates a dedicated integration account in the background. This is expected and only happens once. Re-enabling later reuses the same account.

3. Copy Your Credentials

After enabling, two values are shown:

Credential

What it is

Instance Identifier

A unique name for your CRM instance, used by VOB Agent to recognize your account

Access Token

A secret key that authorizes the connection

To copy a value, click the copy icon next to it. A "Copied to clipboard" confirmation appears. Paste each value into the matching field in your VOB Agent setup.

⚠️ Warning: The Access Token is a secret. Treat it like a password — don't share it over email or chat, and only paste it into your official VOB Agent setup screen.

4. Finish Setup in VOB Agent

  1. Paste the Instance Identifier and Access Token into your VOB Agent integration setup screen.

  2. Click the "Click here" link in the instructions block on the tab to download the VOB Agent Integration Instructions PDF, which walks through the full setup on the VOB Agent side.

  3. Save your VOB Agent configuration.

The integration is now connected.

5. Rotate the Access Token (as needed)

If you ever need a fresh Access Token (for example, if you suspect the current one was exposed):

  1. Switch the Enable VOB Agent toggle OFF.

  2. Switch it back ON.

A new Access Token is generated. The Instance Identifier stays the same — only the Access Token changes. Remember to update the new token in your VOB Agent setup.

💡 Tip: A fresh Access Token is generated each time the tab is loaded with the integration enabled, so always copy the most recent value shown.

6. Disable the Integration

To turn the integration off:

  1. Switch the Enable VOB Agent toggle OFF.

  2. A confirmation message appears: "VOB Agent disabled".

The credential cards are hidden. The dedicated integration account is kept (not deleted), so you can re-enable later without any extra setup.

Verification / Expected Result

  • After enabling: a green "VOB Agent enabled — credentials ready" banner appears, and the Instance Identifier and Access Token fields are populated.

  • After finishing setup in VOB Agent: the integration connects successfully using the pasted credentials.

  • After disabling: a green "VOB Agent disabled" banner appears, and the credential cards disappear.

Troubleshooting / Common Errors

  • VOB Agent tab doesn't appear: The feature isn't enabled for your instance yet — contact Dazos support to have it switched on.

  • Toggle won't switch on / access denied: Confirm you're signed in as an administrator or customer-admin; non-admin users cannot enable this integration.

  • VOB Agent setup rejects the credentials: Re-copy both values directly from the tab — the Access Token regenerates on each enable, so an old copied value may be stale.
