1. Before You Start

You will need:

  • The Social Media module enabled for your workspace (it is activated per workspace — one workspace having it does not enable the others).

  • Create permission on the Social Media module to create a profile (admins always can).

  • Delete permission on the Social Media module to delete a profile or disconnect platforms (admins always can).

  • Admin access to the social accounts you plan to connect (for example, you must be an admin of a Facebook Page to connect it).

Access requirements: If a button described in this guide is not visible to you, your role is likely missing the matching permission — ask your workspace administrator. If the whole Social Media section shows a "contact Sales" message, the module is not active for your workspace; contact Dazos support to enable it.

⚠️ Important: A social media profile is billed per workspace. Creating a profile in a second workspace adds a separate charge for that workspace.

2. Open the Platform Connector

From the iCampaign menu, navigate to Social Media → Platform Connector. This page has three areas:

Area

What it shows

Connected Social Accounts

Every social account linked to this workspace, with its remaining daily posts and an Unlink button.

Connection Requirements

What each network requires before you can connect it (for example, Instagram must be a business account linked to a Facebook Page).

Delete Profile

Removes the entire profile for this workspace (visible only with delete permission).

3. Create Your Social Media Profile

Profiles are no longer created automatically when you open the page. If your workspace has no profile yet, the Platform Connector shows a "Create your social media profile" message instead of the account list.

  1. Click Create Profile.

  2. Read the confirmation window carefully. It reminds you that:

    • Each workspace has its own separate profile.

    • Each profile carries its own cost, billed independently per workspace.

    • After creating it, you can connect accounts and start publishing.

  3. Click Create Profile to confirm.

Once the profile exists, use Connect Platforms to link your social accounts, then publish from Social Media → Posts.

💡 Tip: If you only want to browse the page, simply don't confirm the creation — nothing is billed until you create the profile.

4. Disconnect a Single Platform

To remove one social account while keeping your profile and the other accounts:

  1. On the Platform Connector, find the account card and click Unlink.

  2. Review the confirmation window — it explains exactly what changes:

What

Effect

Composer

The platform is removed — you can no longer create or publish posts to it.

Scheduled posts

They will no longer be published to this platform.

Published posts

They stay live on the network — disconnecting does not delete them.

History & stats

They remain visible in iCampaign but stop updating.

  1. Click Disconnect to confirm.

💡 Tip: To use the platform again later, reconnect it via Connect Platforms and re-authorize your account on the network.

5. Delete Your Social Media Profile

Deleting the profile disconnects every connected account at once and stops the profile's recurring charge. Use this when the workspace no longer needs social publishing.

  1. On the Platform Connector, click Delete Profile.

  2. Read the warning list: all platforms are disconnected, scheduled posts stop publishing, published posts stay live, and history/stats are kept but frozen.

  3. Type the confirmation word shown in the window into the text box — the Delete Profile button stays disabled until the word matches exactly.

  4. Click Delete Profile.

⚠️ Important: This action cannot be undone. To publish again you must create a new profile and reconnect and re-authorize each social account individually.

6. What Happens to Posts From a Deleted Profile

Your content history is never lost, but posts created under a deleted profile become read-only:

You can still…

You can no longer…

See the posts, their stats and their comments

Edit, delete or cancel those posts

Browse the full post history

Reply to or delete their comments

Create new posts (after creating a new profile)

Publish scheduled posts made under the old profile

Read-only posts show a notice: "This post was created with a previous social media profile." Posts you create with a new profile behave normally.

7. Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why don't I see my profile anymore — I never created one?

Profiles used to be created automatically the first time someone opened the Platform Connector. Now they are only created when you click Create Profile, so workspaces that never opted in are not billed.

Q: Does deleting the profile stop the billing?

Yes. Deleting the profile removes it from the publishing provider, which ends the recurring charge for that workspace.

Q: Will deleting the profile remove my published posts from Facebook, X, etc.?

No. Posts already published stay live on each network. Only iCampaign's ability to manage them ends.

Q: I had posts scheduled — what happens to them?

They will not be published. If you still need them, recreate them after setting up a new profile.

Q: Can I get the old posts back into an editable state by creating a new profile?

No. Posts belong to the profile they were created with. With a new profile you keep viewing the old posts and their stats, but only new posts are editable.

Q: The Delete Profile button is grayed out in the confirmation window.

Type the confirmation word exactly as shown (it is case-sensitive). The button enables only when the word matches.

Q: I don't see the Create Profile or Delete Profile button at all.

Your role lacks the create or delete permission for the Social Media module. Ask your workspace administrator to grant it.

Need Help?

If you run into issues:

  1. Refresh the Platform Connector page and check whether your profile and connected accounts are listed.

  2. If a create or delete action fails, wait a moment and try again — a temporary connection problem with the publishing provider shows an error message.

  3. Contact Dazos support with the workspace name, what you clicked, and the message shown, referencing ICD-1438.
