  6. Frequently Asked Questions

1. Before You Start

You will need:

  • The Social Media module enabled for your workspace.

  • A social media profile with at least one connected platform (see Social Media → Platform Connector).

  • The usual Social Media module permissions: update permission to edit posts, delete permission to cancel them (admins always can).

Access requirements: These are fixes and improvements to existing screens — no new setting or activation is needed. If the Social Media section shows a "contact Sales" message, the module is not active for your workspace; contact Dazos support.

2. Scheduled Posts on the Calendar

Scheduled posts appear on the Calendar at the correct time. The hour you picked when scheduling (in the post's own timezone) is converted to your workspace timezone before being placed on the calendar.

💡 Tip: If a post seems off by a few hours, compare the timezone you selected when scheduling with your workspace timezone — the calendar always displays workspace time.

3. Automatic Status Updates After Publishing

When the scheduled time arrives and the post goes out to the social networks, iCampaign updates it for you — no manual action needed:

Where

What you'll see

Social Media → Posts

Status changes from Scheduled to Published (or Failed / Mixed if some platforms had errors).

Post detail page

Each platform row shows its result and a link to the live post.

Previously, some posts stayed marked Scheduled even after they were live. That is fixed — the publish confirmation from the network is now always processed.

4. Editing a Scheduled Post

Open the post from Social Media → Posts and choose Edit Post. For a post that is already scheduled, only the scheduled date (and timezone) can be changed:

  • The content and platform sections appear grayed out and cannot be edited.

  • A notice at the top explains: "This post is scheduled. Only the scheduled date can be edited. To change the content, cancel this post and create a new one."

  1. Pick the new date and time in the Scheduling section.

  2. Click Update. The post will publish at the new time.

⚠️ Important: This limitation comes from the social networks' publishing rules — once a post is queued, only its schedule can move. Content changes require canceling and re-creating the post (next section).

5. Canceling a Scheduled Post

If the content needs to change — or you simply no longer want the post to go out — cancel it directly from the edit screen:

  1. Open the scheduled post for editing.

  2. Click the red Cancel Post button at the bottom of the form.

  3. Confirm the dialog. You return to the posts list and the post will not be published.

  4. To publish corrected content, create a new post in the Composer.

💡 Tip: You can also cancel from the posts list — open the row menu of a scheduled post and choose Cancel Post.

6. Frequently Asked Questions

Q: My calendar used to show scheduled posts at the wrong hour. Do I need to fix anything?

No. The display is corrected automatically for all scheduled posts — nothing is changed in your posts themselves.

Q: A post published but still says "Scheduled". What should I do?

This was the bug this update fixes. If you still see it after the update, open Social Media → Platform Connector once (this refreshes the publishing connection) and check again a few minutes after the next scheduled post goes out. If it persists, contact Dazos support.

Q: Why can't I edit the text of my scheduled post anymore?

The social networks only allow moving the schedule of a queued post. iCampaign previously let you type content changes that were never applied to the networks — now the screen is honest about what will actually happen.

Q: Does canceling a scheduled post delete it everywhere?

Canceling removes it from the publishing queue so it never goes out. It does not affect posts that were already published.

Q: What does a "Mixed" status mean?

The post published successfully on some platforms and failed on others. Open the post to see the per-platform result.

Need Help?

If you run into issues:

  1. Check the post's detail page — each platform row shows its publish result and any error message.

  2. Visit Social Media → Platform Connector to confirm your accounts are still connected, then retry with a new post.

  3. Contact Dazos support with the post title, the scheduled time and timezone, and reference ICD 1439.
