Reuse AI Images in Your Social Posts (iCampaign)

The Social Media module now keeps every image you generate with AI, so nothing is ever lost — even if you don't add it to a post right away

You can also drop any image already saved in your media library straight into a post with one click, without uploading it again.

1. Before You Start

You will need:

Access to the Social Media module in your workspace.

Permission to create social posts.

AI image generation enabled for your instance (used in the post composer's AI Assist tool).

Access requirements: These features appear automatically for any user who can create social posts. There is nothing to switch on yourself.

If you don't see the Social Media menu or the AI Assist / Insert from Library options, they may not be enabled for your instance yet — contact Dazos support to have them turned on.

2. Generate AI Images (Saved Automatically)

When you create AI images in the post composer, each image is now saved to your media library the moment it is generated — you no longer have to click Use to keep it. This means you can generate several options, pick one for your post, and still find the others later.

To generate images:

1. Go to Social Media → Posts and open the Composer (or edit an existing post). 2. In the General Content Post area, click AI Assist.

3. Enter a description of the image you want and generate it.

4. Choose the image you like and add it to your post as usual.

Tip: Every image you generate is stored in the AI folder of your media library, named after the words in your prompt (for example, an image made from "a sunset over a lake" is saved with a name like sunset-lake... ). This makes it easy to recognize and reuse your images later.

3. Insert an Image From Your Library

You can now add any image that is already in your media library directly into a social post — no need to download and re-upload it.

1. In the post composer, find the toolbar under the content box and click Insert from Library.

2. A media library window opens. Browse the folders on the left, or use Search images in all folders at the top.

3. Click the image you want.

4. The image is added to your post's media automatically and appears in the upload area.

Important: Adding a library image to a post makes a copy for that post. Removing the image from the post later will not delete the original from your library.

4. Find and Manage Your Saved Images

Open the media library (from the Insert from Library button, or wherever the image library is used) and click a folder on the left to view its images.

5. Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do I still need to click "Use" to keep an AI image? No. Every image is saved to your AI folder as soon as it is generated. Clicking to add it to your post works the same as before and does not create a duplicate.

Q: Where do my generated images go? Into the AI folder of your media library, named after the words in the prompt you used, so they're easy to find.

Q: If I remove an image from a post, does it disappear from my library? No. When you insert a library image into a post, a copy is made for that post. Your original stays safe in the library.

Q: Can I delete images I don't want anymore? Yes. You can delete images from the AI, Custom PNG, Custom Upload, and Custom SVG folders using the trash icon on each image.

Q: Why can't I delete some images? Shared and system images are protected and cannot be deleted, so they remain available to everyone in the workspace.

Q: The library seems faster — did something change? Yes. The image list is now cached and thumbnails load as you scroll, so folders with many images open more quickly. New or deleted images still appear right away.

6. Need Help?

If you run into issues:

1. Refresh the page and re-open the media library — new or deleted images should appear immediately.

2. Confirm you have permission to create social posts and that AI image generation is enabled for your instance.

3. Contact Dazos support with a description of what you were doing and reference ICD-1426.
