Frequently Asked Questions
1. Before You Start
You will need:
Access to the Social Media module (posts) in your iCampaign instance.
At least one connected social platform in your current workspace, so you can create or edit a post.
AI features enabled for your instance.
Access requirements: any user who can create or edit social posts can use the image generator. There are no extra role settings for this feature.
⚠️ Note: If the AI Assistant or its Images tab isn't visible in your post composer, contact Dazos support to confirm AI features are enabled for your instance.
2. Open the AI Assistant's Images Tab
From the iCampaign menu, open Social Posts.
Click Create Post (or open an existing draft with Edit).
Open the AI Assistant.
Select the Images tab.
💡 Tip: The Images tab only appears on screens that have a media upload area. If you open the AI Assistant somewhere without one (for example, a text-only editor), you'll see the Generate and Improve Text tabs but not Images — that's expected.
3. Describe and Configure Your Image
Fill in the short form on the Images tab:
Field | Description | Example |
Image Description | What you want to see, in plain words (up to 1,000 characters). The more specific, the better the result. |
A bright modern office with a team celebrating |
Size | The shape of the image: Square, Landscape, or Portrait. |
Square (1024x1024) |
Type | Single Image gives you several standalone options to pick from. Carousel creates a set of slides that share one visual style. |
Single Image |
# Options / # Images | How many results to generate: 1–3 options in Single mode, 2–6 slides in Carousel mode. |
3 |
Below the form, an estimated generation time updates as you change your settings — roughly 20 seconds per single image and 40 seconds per carousel slide — so you know how long to expect before you click Generate.
💡 Tip: Choose the Size that matches where you'll post: Square for feeds, Portrait for stories, Landscape for link-style previews.
4. Generate and Review
Click Generate Image.
Wait while the images are created — a loading animation with progress messages keeps you company. Keep the window open.
When generation finishes, the results appear inside the modal:
Single Image: each option is shown as a preview; use the left/right arrows to browse when you generated more than one, with a counter (for example,
1 / 3).Carousel: browse all slides with the arrows to check that the set tells your story.
Control | Purpose |
Generate Image | Starts generation with your current description and settings. |
◀ / ▶ arrows | Browse between the generated options or slides. |
Use Image / Use Carousel | Adds the result to your post (see next section). |
Discard | Throws away the results so you can adjust your description and try again. |
⚠️ Important: Generation takes real time — a 6-slide carousel can take a few minutes. The estimate shown before you click Generate is a good guide.
5. Add the Images to Your Post
In Single Image mode, browse to the option you like best and click Use Image. Only the image currently shown is added to your post.
In Carousel mode, click Use Carousel. All slides are added to your post in order.
In both cases the images are placed directly into the post's media area, and the modal closes. You can then arrange, caption, schedule, and publish the post exactly as you would with uploaded images.
💡 Tip: Every image you "Use" is also saved to your media gallery in an AI-generated category, so you can reuse it in future posts without generating it again.
6. How It Works
Single images
Your description is sent to an AI image model, which returns the number of options you asked for. Each option is an independent interpretation of your description, so generating 2–3 options gives you real variety to choose from.
Carousels
Carousel slides are generated one after another, and each new slide is created with awareness of the previous ones. The first slide establishes the visual identity — color palette, typography, layout, and illustration style — and every following slide replicates it. That's why carousels look like one designed set rather than unrelated images, and also why they take longer per image than single mode.
Where the images live
Images you accept are stored in your media gallery (with thumbnails) under the AI-generated category, alongside your uploaded media. Discarded results are not saved anywhere.
7. Other Changes in This Update
Posts are scoped to your workspace. The posts list, comment panels, and post pages now only show posts that belong to your currently selected workspace. To see another workspace's posts, switch workspaces first. Old links to posts in a different workspace will show "not found" until you switch.
Instagram stories are labeled. On a published post's detail page, posts published as an Instagram Story now show a small Story label next to the platform icon.
Tidier platform connections page. Connection status badges are more compact ("Reconnect" instead of "Reconnect required"), and long account names are shortened so cards line up cleanly.
8. Frequently Asked Questions
Q: I don't see the Images tab in the AI Assistant. Why?
The tab only appears where the post has a media upload area. Make sure you opened the AI Assistant from the post composer. If it's still missing, contact Dazos support to confirm AI features are enabled for your instance.
Q: Can I generate more than 3 single images or more than 6 carousel slides?
No. Single mode is limited to 3 options and carousels to 6 slides per generation. You can always generate again with a refined description.
Q: What happens if generation fails or times out?
You'll see an error message in the modal and nothing is added to your post. This usually means the AI service was busy — wait a moment and click Generate Image again. If it keeps failing, contact support.
Q: Are discarded images saved anywhere?
No. Only images you accept with Use Image or Use Carousel are saved to your gallery and post. Discarded results are gone.
Q: Can I edit a generated image?
Not inside the generator. Once the image is in your post or gallery you can treat it like any uploaded image. To change the image itself, adjust your description and generate again.
Q: In Single mode I generated 3 options — can I use more than one?
Use Image adds only the option currently shown. To use another option too, generate again or reuse it from your media gallery if you already accepted it.
Q: Why did posts disappear from my list after this update?
They didn't disappear — the list now shows only your current workspace's posts. Switch to the workspace the posts belong to and they'll be there.
Need Help?
If you run into issues:
Check that you're in the right workspace and that at least one social platform is connected there.
Retry the generation once — temporary AI service load is the most common cause of a failed generation.
Contact Dazos support with the time of the failure and reference ICD-1360.
