Overview
When configuring the iVerify iFrame in Dazos CRM, you may notice that a field name such as SSN appears more than once in the Field Name list. This happens because the same field name can exist across multiple CRM modules, and the iVerify iFrame settings screen does not display any module context next to the field names.
This article explains why this occurs and how to identify which module each duplicate entry refers to.
Why This Happens
The iVerify iFrame Field Name list pulls all available CRM fields that can receive form submission data. If a field with the same name (e.g., SSN) has been created in multiple modules — such as Leads, Intake Opportunities, or others — each instance will appear as a separate entry in the list.
⚠️ Important: The iVerify iFrame settings screen has no built-in way to show which module each field entry belongs to. There is no module label or indicator displayed next to duplicate field names.
How to Identify Which Module Each Entry Refers To
Because the iVerify screen does not provide module context, you will need to investigate this outside of the iVerify settings. Use the following two methods:
Method 1: Check Module Management
Go to Settings → CRM Settings → Module Management.
Open each module individually (e.g., Leads, Intake Opportunities, etc.).
Review the fields listed for each module and look for the duplicate field name (e.g., SSN).
Make a note of which modules contain that field — this helps you understand how many entries to expect and where they originate.
Method 2: Submit a Test Form (Most Reliable)
The only reliable way to confirm which field entry in the iVerify list maps to a specific module is to submit a test form and observe the result:
Configure the iVerify iFrame to use one of the duplicate field entries.
Submit a test form with a recognizable test value in the field (e.g., a unique SSN number).
After submission, check your CRM modules to see which record was created or updated with that test value.
The module where the data lands confirms which field entry you selected.
✅ Best Practice: Repeat this test for each duplicate entry so you can map each one to the correct module before finalizing your iVerify configuration.
Tips & Notes
💡 Tip: If the same field name appears in four modules but only twice in the iVerify list, this may indicate that only some of those module fields are currently available for iVerify mapping. Use the test method above to confirm exactly which modules are represented.
⚠️ Note: This is a known display limitation of the iVerify iFrame settings screen. There is currently no way to view module context directly from that screen. A feature improvement has been noted.
💡 Tip: When reviewing fields in Module Management, pay attention to how each SSN field is used — for example, whether it appears in a layout tied to intake flows, whether it is marked as required, or whether it is used in workflows.
This context can help you make an informed decision about which mapping to use.
