Before You Begin
You must have access to the Reports module in Dazos CRM.
For the Zapier integration, you will need an active Zapier account and access to a Microsoft Excel file stored in a cloud location (such as OneDrive or SharePoint) that Zapier can write to.
Part 1: Export a Report to CSV or XLS
You can download any saved report directly from the Reports module in either CSV or XLS format.
From the CRM, click Reports in the left navigation.
Select the report you want to export from the list.
Open the report so it is fully generated on screen.
Locate the export option in the report toolbar and choose your preferred file type — CSV or XLS.
Your browser will download the file automatically.
💡 Tip: CSV is best for importing into other tools or manipulating raw data. XLS opens directly in Excel with formatting preserved.
Part 2: Integrate CRM Data into Excel via Zapier
Dazos has a Zapier integration that lets you automatically create a new row in an Excel sheet whenever a specific CRM action takes place. This keeps your spreadsheet up to date without any manual exporting.
Supported CRM Trigger Actions
The following CRM actions can be used as Zapier triggers to create Excel rows:
New Lead
New VOB (Verification of Benefits)
New Admission
Other available CRM actions shown in your Zapier integration settings
⚠️ Note: The exact list of available trigger actions is visible when you set up the Dazos app inside Zapier. Only the actions listed there are currently supported.
Steps to Set Up the Zap
Log in to your Zapier account.
Click Create Zap.
Search for and select Dazos as the Trigger app.
Choose the CRM action you want to trigger the Zap (for example, New Lead).
Connect your Dazos CRM account when prompted and authorize the integration.
For the Action step, search for and select Microsoft Excel.
Choose the action Create Row.
Connect your Microsoft Excel account and select the workbook and worksheet where new rows should be added.
Map the CRM data fields to the corresponding Excel columns.
Test the Zap to confirm a row is created correctly, then turn the Zap on.
✅ Result: Every time the selected CRM action occurs (for example, a new lead is added), Zapier will automatically insert a new row into your designated Excel sheet with the mapped CRM data.
Verification / Expected Result
For direct exports: the CSV or XLS file downloads to your computer and opens in Excel with your report data.
For the Zapier integration: a new row appears in your Excel sheet each time the configured CRM action fires, with data populated in the columns you mapped.
