Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you have:
Admin access to your Dazos CRM instance
Your Google Ads integration already authenticated under Settings → Google Ads Settings
At least one conversion action created in your Google Ads account (see the related article: How to Set Up Google Ads Offline Conversion Tracking Integration)
A Dazos webform or iframe form already set up and creating Lead records in the CRM
A way to identify form submission leads in the CRM — for example, a specific lead source value, a form-specific field value, or another field that distinguishes form submissions from other lead types
Overview
A common question when implementing iframe or embedded forms is whether Dazos can send a conversion event to Google Ads at the moment a form is submitted — not just when a lead reaches a later CRM milestone like an admission.
The answer is yes. The Google Ads conversion setup in Dazos CRM supports flexible field conditions, which means you can configure a condition that isolates form submissions and use that as the trigger for a Google Ads conversion. The conversion does not have to be tied to a later lifecycle stage — it can fire as soon as the form submission comes in and creates a Lead record.
Steps
Identify what makes a form submission lead unique in your CRM. Before configuring the conversion rule, determine which field and value you can use to isolate leads that came from a form submission. Common examples include:
A specific Lead Source value (e.g., Web Form or iframe Form)
A specific value in a custom field that is populated by the form
Any other field that is consistently set when a form is submitted but not when leads come in through other channels
Navigate to Google Ads Settings in the CRM. Go to Settings → CRM Settings → Integration → Google Ads Settings.
Open your conversion action configuration. Locate the conversion action you want to use for form submission tracking. If you have not yet pulled your conversion actions from Google Ads into the CRM, click Pull Conversion Actions to import them.
Configure a field condition that matches form submissions. In the conversion rule setup, add a condition using the field and value you identified in Step 1. For example, if form submissions set the Lead Source to Web Form, configure the condition as: Lead Source = Web Form. This tells the CRM to send the conversion to Google Ads only when a lead matching this condition is created or updated.
Save the conversion rule. Save your configuration. From this point on, when a form submission creates a Lead in the CRM and the lead matches your configured condition, the CRM will push the conversion to Google Ads.
Result
After completing these steps, Dazos CRM will send a conversion event to Google Ads whenever a form submission comes in and the resulting lead matches your configured field condition. This allows you to track form completions as Google Ads conversion events directly through the CRM — no separate website-side conversion tracking setup is required for this use case.
You can monitor conversion data being sent to Google Ads via the API Activity Logs in your Dazos instance (Settings → Other Settings).
Important Notes
The Google Ads conversion trigger is not limited to later CRM lifecycle milestones. While the integration is commonly used to track outcomes like admissions or qualified leads, it can be configured to fire at any point — including immediately when a form submission lead is created — as long as the field conditions are set up correctly.
Field conditions are flexible. You can use any Lead field that reliably identifies a form submission as the condition for your conversion rule. Work with your team to decide which field and value most cleanly isolates form leads from other lead sources.
