DocuSign Integration Part 4 - How to Map a DocuSign email template(CRM)

This guide outlines the precise steps to configure a DocuSign template within the Dazos platform, enabling you to quickly send documents for electronic signature with pre-defined fields and roles.

Before You Begin

You will need the following prerequisites before creating a template:

  • An active DocuSign account integrated with your Dazos CRM.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: ask the customer for a list that includes the label type, label name, in the DocuSign template, and the CRM corresponding information

Steps

1. Access Your CRM Instance

Navigate to the specific CRM login page and enter your credentials.


2. Navigate to Settings

After logging in, locate and click on the "Settings" option in the main navigation panel on the left side of the CRM.


3. Access CRM Settings

In the Settings menu, click on "CRM Settings." This section gives you complete control over your CRM's management.


4. Access "Integration" dropdown menu

Locate the "Integration" dropdown menu and click to expand it.


5. Access "Document Sign"

Under the "Integration" menu, click on "Dusiment Sign"


6. Access "Map Fields"

Click on the 'Map Field' button.


7. Access the form mapping options

Click on the form name you are going to map



7. Map the DocuSign template with the CRM fields

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Based on the list provided by the customer, map the fields accordingly

List example:


1- Select the DocuSign field

2- Select the CRM field

3- Then click on Save

4 - Repeat the previous steps to add all the necessary fields



Verification

To confirm the integration is working:

  • The newly created template appears in the DocuSign Templates list with its descriptive name.

  • When a document is sent using this template, all pre-defined signature and data fields are correctly placed for the assigned recipients.


Troubleshooting Tips

  • "Missing Required Fields" Error: Confirm that the field types correspond to those in the CRM and that the mapping settings are correct.

  • Template not found: Double-check that the integration is connected
