DocuSign Integration Part 1 - Setting up Webhooks in the DocuSign Admin Portal(CRM)

This guide provides the precise steps you must follow within your DocuSign Admin Portal to set up the Connect webhook. This ensures that real-time document status updates (such as "Signed" or "Completed") are pushed back to the Dazos CRM.

Before You Begin

  • Prerequisites: You must have Admin login access to your DocuSign account.

  • Dazos Webhook URL: You must first copy the unique Dazos Webhook URL from your CRM instance's DocuSign Settings page.


StepsConfiguration Steps (In DocuSign Admin Portal)


1. Log in to DocuSign Admin




2. After logging into the account, navigate to the Admin section


3. Scroll down on the left options, and navigate to the Connect section


4. Access the Connect Keys tab, and select the Add Secret Key button


5. Copy the new key created and shared with the Dazos team

⚠️ Warning: Copy the key before leaving the page because after going back to this page, the key will be hidden with no option to see it again


6. Access the Configuration tab, select the Add Configuration button, and press Custom



7. Add a name to the new Configuration, then add the CRM URL already taken from the CRM integration settings

8. Access the Trigger Events and Expand the Envelope and Recipients, then check the Envelope Signed/Completed option

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Checking this trigger option ensures that the document will be sent back to the CRM after the signature is completed


9. Check the Integration and Security Settings option

10. Save the configuration


11. Confirm that the new configuration was created successfully


Final Step: Update Dazos CRM

  1. Share the HMAC Secret Key you just copied from DocuSign with the Dazos team and schedule a meeting to set the configuration up on a live support call


Verification / Expected Result

  • You will see a "Connected" status in your Dazos CRM DocuSign Settings.

  • Document status updates (like "Signed") will now push automatically from DocuSign to the corresponding patient record in Dazos.
