Steps
1. Access Your CRM Instance
Navigate to the specific CRM login page and enter your credentials.
2. Navigate to Settings
After logging in, locate and click on the "Settings" option in the main navigation panel on the left side of the CRM.
3. Access CRM Settings
In the Settings menu, click on "CRM Settings." This section gives you complete control over your CRM's management.
4. Access "Integration" dropdown menu
Locate the "Integration" dropdown menu and click to expand it.
5. Access "Document Sign"
Under the "Integration" menu, click on "Dusiment Sign"
6. Enter HMAC Secret Key and Establish Connection
Fill in the HMAC Secret Key (This Key must be provided by the customer)
⚠️ CRITICAL NOTE: This connection process must be completed while the customer is simultaneously logged into their DocuSign account to successfully authorize and establish the connection
7. Update and Confirm "Success"
After confirming the customer is logged into DocuSign, click Update. The system will now establish the full connection.
Verification
To confirm the integration is working:
The DocuSign Settings panel should display a "Connected" status.
Navigate to a patient's Intake Opportunity or Account record and confirm that the "Send to DocuSign" option or button is visible and active.
Troubleshooting Tips
Authentication Failure: Double-check all credentials (API Email, Password, Base URL, and HMAC Secret Key) for typos. Also, confirm that your DocuSign account plan includes active API Access.
Connection Not Finalizing: Ensure you are actively logged into your DocuSign account in a separate tab when clicking the "Update" button (Step 6).
Missing Button: If the DocuSign button is not visible on patient records, verify that the current user's Role-Based Permissions include the right to use the DocuSign feature.
