Symptom / Error
After removing the Caller First Name and/or Caller Last Name columns from a list view configuration, all records disappear from that list view. The list appears empty even though records exist in the system.
⚠️ Note: This issue is most commonly seen when those fields are mapped in your VOIP Integration Settings (for example, DialPad).
Cause
When a field is mapped in your VOIP settings (such as Caller First Name in DialPad VOIP Settings), that field must remain included as a column in any list view configuration. Removing a VOIP-mapped field as a column can break how records are retrieved and displayed in that list view, causing all records to disappear.
✅ Best Practice: This is not a data loss issue — your records are still in the system. The list view simply cannot display them correctly without the required column present.
Solution
Navigate to the affected list view in your Dazos CRM module (for example, Leads).
Click the Configure Columns icon at the top-left of the list view table.
In the Configure Columns dialog, locate the Available Fields panel on the right.
Add Caller First Name and Caller Last Name back to the Selected Fields list.
Click Update List to save your changes.
Verify that records are now displaying correctly in the list view.
⚠️ Important: Any field that is mapped in your VOIP Integration Settings must be kept as a column in your list view. Do not remove these fields from the list view configuration, as doing so will cause records to stop displaying.
Additional Cause: Treatment Program Assignments Conflicting with Executive Role
In some cases, records may also stop appearing due to a user permission conflict. If a user has the Executive role (which grants access to all treatment programs) and has been manually assigned to specific Treatment Programs, the manual assignments can unexpectedly override the Executive role and restrict data visibility.
💡 Tip: If your organization requires users to be restricted to specific treatment programs and facilities, do not remove Treatment Program assignments. Instead, use the correct role that supports scoped access. Contact Dazos Support if you need guidance on the right role and permission configuration for your use case.
Verification / Expected Result
After adding the VOIP-mapped fields back as columns and clicking Update List, the list view should reload and display all records as expected. No records should be missing.
