Overview
Dazos does not currently have a built-in native electronic signature feature. Instead, Dazos integrates with dedicated third-party e-signature platforms — such as DocuSign — to handle signature requests, permission workflows, and signed PDF document generation.
When to Use / Why It Matters
This applies to any organization that needs to:
Send signature requests to clients or internal users
Generate signed PDFs containing full agreement text
Replace or migrate away from another e-signature tool (such as Zoho Sign)
If your team requires legally valid electronic signatures as part of your intake, consent, or transaction workflows, a DocuSign integration is the recommended path in Dazos.
How E-Signature Works in Dazos
What Dazos Does Not Include (Natively)
There is no built-in e-signature tool within Dazos CRM. You cannot send signature requests or generate externally signed PDFs using Dazos alone, without a connected third-party platform.
⚠️ Note: The digital signature fields available in Dazos CRM modules (such as Consent Forms or Pre-Assessments) are for capturing on-screen signatures directly within the CRM — they are separate from external e-signature workflows managed through platforms like DocuSign.
What the DocuSign Integration Provides
When integrated with DocuSign, Dazos supports:
Sending signature requests — any authorized internal user can initiate a signature request
Permission and workflow management — control who can send and receive signature requests
Signed PDF generation — full agreement text with completed signatures is captured and stored as a PDF

To use e-signature functionality in Dazos, you will need an active DocuSign account. Once you have one, contact Dazos Support to begin the integration setup process.
