How to Send Lead Status Changes and Account Creation Events to Facebook via Dazos Workflows and Zapier (CRM)

Overview

You can use Dazos CRM Workflows to automatically send Lead Status Change and Account Creation events to Zapier via webhook, then forward that data to Facebook for offline conversion tracking. This mirrors the Facebook CRM Leads integration pattern used in other CRMs such as Zoho.

Before You Begin

  • You must have admin access to CRM Settings and Workflows in Dazos.

  • You must have an active Zapier account with a Zap set up to receive webhook data.

  • You must have a Facebook Business account configured for offline conversion tracking.

Steps

Part 1: Set Up the Workflow in Dazos

  1. Log in to your Dazos CRM and navigate to Settings → CRM Settings → Automation → Workflows.

  2. Click Create Workflow (or the equivalent button in your instance) to start a new workflow.

  3. Set the trigger to one of the following, depending on what you want to track:

    • Lead Status Change — fires whenever a Lead's status field is updated

    • Account Creation — fires whenever a new Account record is created

  4. Configure any conditions you need (for example, trigger only when Lead Status changes to a specific value).

  5. Add a webhook action and enter your Zapier Webhook (Catch Hook) URL as the destination. Zapier will provide this URL when you set up the trigger step in your Zap.

  6. Save and activate the workflow.

  7. Repeat steps 2–6 to create a second workflow if you need to track both Lead Status Change and Account Creation as separate triggers.

Part 2: Process the Data in Zapier

  1. In Zapier, open the Zap that uses the Webhooks by Zapier – Catch Hook trigger.

  2. Test the trigger to confirm Zapier is receiving the data payload from Dazos.

  3. Add the steps required to format or map the data fields to match Facebook's expected input for offline conversions.

Part 3: Forward the Data to Facebook

  1. Add a Facebook Offline Conversions action step in your Zap (or use the Facebook Conversions API action, depending on your Zapier integration setup).

  2. Map the relevant fields from the Dazos webhook payload to the corresponding Facebook conversion event fields.

  3. Turn on your Zap and test end-to-end by triggering a Lead Status Change or Account Creation in Dazos and confirming the event appears in Facebook.

Verification / Expected Result

When a Lead's status changes or a new Account is created in Dazos, the workflow fires and sends the record data to your Zapier webhook URL. Zapier processes the payload and forwards the event to Facebook as an offline conversion. You should see the conversion event appear in your Facebook Business account under your configured offline event set.

Tips & Notes

💡 Tip: Create separate workflows for Lead Status Change and Account Creation so each trigger can be managed and tested independently.

💡 Tip: In Zapier, use Filter or Formatter steps if you need to clean up or transform field values before sending them to Facebook.

Best Practice: Test with a single record first before activating workflows across your full dataset to confirm the data is mapping correctly in both Zapier and Facebook.

⚠️ Warning: Make sure your Zapier webhook URL is kept secure. Anyone with the URL can send data to your Zap.
