BH Content Library on Every Composing Surface (iCampaign)

Overview

The BH Content Library used to be available only when building email or SMS templates. It is now available everywhere you compose a message — social posts, platform captions, first comments, comment boxes, the Comments Center, and both workflow actions.

Selecting an item places its text at your cursor, and brings its image along on surfaces that accept one.

Before You Begin

  • Access to Social Media in your iCampaign instance

  • At least one item in the BH Content Library (managed centrally for your account)

  • For social posts, at least one connected platform

⚠️ Note: If you do not see the BH Content button on a screen described below, the library may be empty for your account. Contact Dazos Support to have content added.

Insert Content Into a Social Post

Go to Social Media → Posts and click Composer. Write your post as usual. When you want to pull in a prepared message, place your cursor where it should go and click BH Content in the toolbar below the text.

The library opens. Pick an item from the grid on the left — the panel on the right previews its text, image (if it has one), and character count. Click Insert Content to place the text at your cursor.

💡 Tip: Each platform tab has its own BH Content button for that platform's caption override. Those insert text only.

Attaching the Item's Image

If the item you picked carries an image, it is attached to the post automatically and appears as a thumbnail in the media area, ready to publish. You can remove it like any other attachment.

General post content

Platform caption override

Text only — platform captions have no media of their own

First Comment and every comment box

Text only — comments cannot carry images on any platform

⚠️ Important: If the item's image is in a format that posts do not accept, the text is still inserted and a message tells you the image was skipped. Nothing fails silently.

Comments on a Post

Go to Social Media → Posts and click a post to open its panel, then the Comments tab. Write your comment, click BH Content, pick an item, and click Insert Content.

The remaining-characters counter updates exactly as it does when you type. If the result exceeds the platform limit, the over-limit warning appears and Post Comment stays disabled until you shorten it.

The Comments Center

Go to Social Media → Comments Center and select a comment to open its thread. The composer at the bottom of the thread has a BH Content button next to Add Emoji and behaves the same way.

Workflow Emails and SMS

Go to Automation → Workflows and create or edit a workflow.

  • For Compose and Send an Email — the BH Content button sits in the editor's own toolbar at the right-hand end alongside other formatting controls

  • For Compose and Send a SMS — the BH Content button is located under the message field

.

When the Message Is Already Full

SMS messages are capped at 1,530 characters, and comments have their own per-platform limits. If the item you picked does not fit in the space left, nothing is inserted. The library tells you how many characters the item needs and how many you have left, and stays open so you can close it, shorten your message, and try again.

💡 Tip: Your message is never cut short without telling you. If you see the success message, the whole item went in.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Does inserting replace what I already wrote?
No. Content is inserted at your cursor. If you never clicked into the field, it is added at the end — nothing already written is displaced.

Q: Can I insert more than one item?
Yes. The cursor is left just after what was inserted, so a second insert follows the first rather than jumping back to the beginning.

Q: Why is no image attached to my comment?
Comments cannot carry images on any platform, so comment boxes insert text only even when the item has an image.

Q: Why can I not see the BH Content button?
The library is managed centrally for your account. If it is empty, the button has nothing to offer. Contact Dazos Support to have content added.

Q: I picked an item but the image did not appear on my post.
Either the item has no image, or its image is in a format that post attachments do not accept. In the second case you will see a message saying the image was skipped.

Q: Does this change what I can already do?
No. The email template builder and SMS template editor work exactly as before — the library is simply available in more places now.
