Overview
This guide helps you resolve a failed patient push to KIPU caused by a missing Treatment Program on the Intake Opportunity. Without a Treatment Program assigned, KIPU does not know which location or program to push the patient to, and the push will not complete successfully.
Symptom / Error
When attempting to push a patient from Dazos CRM to KIPU, the push fails or does not go through. The patient chart does not appear in KIPU as expected.
Cause
The Intake Opportunity does not have a Treatment Program assigned. This field tells KIPU which facility location or program the patient should be pushed to. If it is blank, KIPU cannot process the push.
⚠️ Important: The Treatment Program field is located on the Intake Opportunity record — not the Account record. If you are viewing the Account, you will need to navigate to the linked Intake Opportunity first.
Solution
Open the patient's record in Dazos CRM. If you are on the Account view, look for the navigation buttons on the right side of the screen to open the linked Intake Opportunity.
Once inside the Intake Opportunity record, locate the Treatment Program field.
Select the appropriate Treatment Program (e.g., the correct office or facility location) from the available options.
Save the record.
Retry the patient push to KIPU.
Verification / Expected Result
After assigning the Treatment Program and retrying the push, you should receive a success message confirming the patient has been pushed to KIPU. The patient chart will then be available in your KIPU instance.
Escalation
Contact Dazos Support if:
The Treatment Program field does not appear on the Intake Opportunity
No Treatment Programs are available to select in the dropdown
The push continues to fail after assigning a Treatment Program
💡 Tip: Always verify that a Treatment Program is assigned to the Intake Opportunity before attempting a KIPU patient push. This is a required field for the integration to work correctly.
